Award winning fully en-suite AA Four Star Guest Accommodation in North Wales near to Chester, the North Wales Coast and Snowdonia.

Neil and Susan Evans have operated The Old Mill Guest Accommodation since converting Wern Mill stables in 1988

Guests will not be sharing Susan and Neil's home as they live in the adjacent converted tall building, an ex-grain store. Thus, not only your bedrooms but also the Reception Area, Dining Room and Lounge are exclusively for guests' use.

Your car is accommodated close to your bedroom on our spacious private car park. The garden setting makes for an attractive first sight of The Old Mill.

We have six comfortable and well equipped en-suite bedrooms offering a combination of double, twin and family rooms. Some rooms with en-suite bath and shower, some shower only. Two are on the ground floor and four on the first floor. Three of the six rooms have their own external entrances.

All bedrooms are equipped with:-
Tea and Coffee - Hair Drier - Telephone - Freeview TV - Radio - Trouser Press .

Our public areas consist of a welcoming reception area; a comfortable residents' lounge with brochure and information room and a large conservatory style dining room.

In fine weather, our gardens provide space and comfort in our 'outdoor rooms'. The Waterwheel patio and small Summerhouse sitting area both offer individual areas in which to enjoy the great outdoors - with a cup of tea or cold drink perhaps?.


The dining room provides generous space between tables. It's a light and airy room due to the large amount of glass in the roof windows, french doors and especially made ceiling end panels.

Breakfast comprises a wide choice from the traditional British menu together with cereals, fruit, toast and excellent coffee.

We understand that if you are on holiday you need easy and quick access to as much tourism information as possible. Thus we have a large up to date collection of brochures, maps and guides - in fact we have a special room just for this.

Rural Flintshire and the Clwydian Hills within which we are situated is great walking country. We have excellent guides and maps for guests to use.

Great location for visiting Chester and North Wales.
